Now that some of the dust has settled from my move

Now that some of the dust has settled from my move, I am able to reflect a little on how grateful I am to have spent the last three-plus years with these two. Serious, traditional, loving, and faithful men of God who know how to have a good laugh—even when there’s every reason to cry. There’s not much better in my book. Glory to God.

Today I served for the last time as a priest of St

Today I served for the last time as a priest of St. Nicholas Shrine Church in Flushing, NY. I am so grateful to Jesus Christ for having brought me here and ordaining me to his holy priesthood here, and trusting me to serve his flock here, and especially for allowing me to serve with and learn from Fr. Paul Palesty and Fr. Aristidis Garinis—two “priest’s priests”. There’s so much more I could say.⁣
⁣
But now a new chapter begins. This week Pres. Meredyth and I make the trek down to Charlotte, NC, where not only will we have the blessing to be near family, but where I will assume the role of proïstamenos (head priest) at St. Nektarios Church. If you’re inclined to do so, please say a prayer for us.⁣

We are grateful beyond words for the love we have been shown.

It’s such a blessing to watch the Church grow, whether through missionary work or through God-loving Christian families giving over their children to God for adoption as his sons and daughters. God grant many years to his newly-illumined son, Matthew Panagiotis, his family, and his sponsors in Holy Baptism!
